Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI

Released in 1999, the Evo VI, a continuation of the Evolution 5 hit the market. Keeping the 4G63 engine, the upgrades to the 6 included aerodynamic changes as well as improvements to the cooling and durability aspects of the engine. New pistons, oil cooler and inter cooler were introduced, as well as new new bumpers which included larger fog light and new rear spoiler. Models in the range were the RS (lightweight), Tommi Makinen and the GSR. This vehicle being the latter. Standard equipment for the GSR were a 5 speed transmission, blue/black spot / alcantara Recaro bucket seats, active yaw control and auto air conditioning.

This particular vehicle (V1 EVD) is an extremely special and rare find indeed, finished in virtually unblemished Pyrenees Black Pearl, this exceptional example has covered under 25,000 miles from new, with its only 1 former keeper. The car was imported from Japan from new and first registered to its former keeper. This fastidious collector, kept the vehicle for two decades, keeping all history with the car and dry storing throughout its life. Prior to the current owner taking possession almost five years ago, the vehicle had its cambelt replaced and a comprehensive inspection was taken place. Since taking ownership the car has only been out to be MOT'd on two occasions, being stored temperature controlled and in a sealed bubble. 

The car has just had an MOT completed, and yet another inspection with photos taken place on the underside. The boot floor, strut tops, sills and underbody are in incredible order and never had restoration. The whole underside of the vehicle has been sealed professionally, removing rear differential and fuel tank.
